Mr. Nance has worked in education for 18 years and currently serves as one of the Assistant Principals at Wichita North High School in the USD 259 school district. Prior to that role, he served as an assistant principal at Gordon Parks Academy and was a counselor at Coleman Middle School and North High School. Mr. Nance also served USD 353 at Wellington Middle School as a teacher from 2005 to 2009
“I am very excited to serve the community of Wellington and look forward to working with the staff of WHS and community to provide students with rigorous educational opportunities that foster a high achieving school culture.” says Nance.
Mr. Nance is a 1999 graduate of Wellington High School. He currently resides in Wellington with his wife, Katie, and their three daughters.
“It is always exciting to be able to bring a strong educator and leader such as Mr. Nance back to our district, knowing the enthusiasm and commitment he already has displayed to the students, staff, and families in his previous roles. We are happy to welcome him to the Wellington School District.” says Superintendent Adam Hatfield.
