WHS Senior Kaitlyn Hain Signs to Wrestle at Indian Hills in Iowa!

WHS Senior Kaitlyn Hain, with her parents and coaches by her side, signed to attend and participate in Wrestling next school year at Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa, Iowa. The Warriors are part of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. With her parents Ryan and Kelly Hain, and Coaches Mitch McComb and Zane Aguilar, let the ink flow and will be a Warrior next school year in Iowa.

Kaitlyn who also excels in Softball, was this school years' DUCHESS back in October. At the 2021 DIV II Regional Championships at Circle, Hain, at 132 lbs., finished 2nd. At the DIV II State Wrestling Tournament in Salina 2 weeks later, Hain finished in 6th, medaling and scoring 6 pts. for the Lady Crusader wrestling squad. Out of approx. 50 teams represented at State, the Lady Crusaders finished 4th. An awesome job indeed.

Coach McComb had this to say about 132 lb. Kaitlyn Hain:

*Kaitlyn Hain (132 lbs) had older brothers that wrestled which probably increased her interest in the sport. She is tough as nails, works hard to get better.Kaitlyn was by far in the toughest weight class in the state. Kaitlynn pinned the runner-up at 138 in a match at Bluestem earlier this year."
Congratulations on a fine career here at WHS, one that hasn't wrapped up yet. GO KAITLYN!!
