Excellence In Teaching Award Goes To WMS's Cindy Tracy!

Congratulations to WMS Science Instructor Cindy Tracy, the 2016 USD 353 recipient of the annual Excellence in Teaching Award presented at the end of the year "all-district" meeting held at WHS Tuesday afternoon.

SUMMER MUSIC MADNESS begins in early June for WMS and WHS band students. This program is designed to keep students playing over the summer and to build ability and technique on their instrument.

Bands Perform Under Direction of Ben Olson 050916

WMS & WHS BAND CONCERTSA variety of bands took to the stage Monday evening at WHS under the direction of Ben Olson. First up, the WMS 6th graders with selections including "The Saints Go Marchin' Again" and the "Theme from 1812 Overture".

Driver Education Course Offered This Summer

A Driver Education course will be offered this summer for students who have completed their eighth grade year of school and who will be 14 years of age by May 31, 2016, but not yet 21 years of age by September 1, 2016. Enrollment will be limited to the first 112 students who complete the enrollment procedure. An enrollment packet has been sent home on 4/11/16 with all Wellington Middle School 8th graders and all interested students from Wellington High School.
