SPECIAL K BASKETBALLAs a first year teacher and coach, I can proudly say that my group of kids for Special K have proven to be a challenge but a blessing. We practice every single day in our first hour Adapted P.E. class. They arrive eager to learn and play, with our next Game Day on their mind. Our season has had its ups and downs, just as any other team would endure.

Industrial Arts @ WHS just got a little better!

MR. RYAN ELDER Mr. Ryan Elder (center-file photo) Inventables, Inc, also known as "THE HARDWARE STORE FOR DESIGNERS" has made it their goal to put a 3D Carver in every school nation-wide. To kick start the project they developed a grant to award ONE school PER STATE a 3D carver of their choice. When WHS Industrial Arts instructor Ryan Elder got wind of this, he went to work!

ODYSSEY Mrs. Carroll's Freshman English Odyssey Project - Objective: The students were to choose and analyze one scene from Part 1, The Odyssey, by HOMER and within their small group, prepare/write an original script from one of Odysseus’ adventures.

WHS Band Concert - Challenging Music / Superb Performance!

WHS BAND CONCERT Instrumental music rang out Monday evening at WHS as the Crusader Concert Band performed a few numbers for the crowd on hand. Under the direction of 1st year instructor Ben Olson, performance numbers included "Ravetsky March" by Johann Strauss, "Perthshire Majesty" by Samuel Hazo (this number featured solos by Mikayla Rosenthal (Oboe), Grace Rowley (Flute), Shelby McNamara (Piccolo), Marisa Black (Flute) and J.J.

WHS CRUSADERS PRESENT THEIR FALL CHORAL CONCERT!

WHS CHORAL CONCERTThe WHS Fall Choral Concert was presented Monday evening under the direction of Choral Director Jessica Coldwell and Accompanist Jeanie Escobar. A numerous range of numbers were performed - the day of standing on "risers" and singing are gone.

PARADE AND RALLY TIME IN DOWNTOWN WELLINGTON!

PARADE and RALLYA large crowd in downtown Wellington Thursday evening enjoyed the annual Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally put on by WHS Student Council and sponsor Bridget Vaughn. The floats prepared by all "4" classes at WHS were awesome - wouldn't want to be a judge for that contest! The Crusader Band performed well, the Cheerleaders too!

NHS BLOOD DRIVE NETS NEARLY 7 GALLONS!
