RANE CASE-WHS On behalf of Impact Bank, The Office of the State Bank Commissioner of Kansas and the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner, Rane Case of Wellington High School has been selected as a Distinguished Financial Educator in the State of Kansas for 2015-2016.

Good "SOUNDS" @ WHS CHORAL POPS CONCERT TUESDAY

WHS VOCAL MUSICThe WHS Choir Pops Concert was held Tuesday evening out at WHS, featuring both the Madrigals and the Mixed Ensemble, performing a large slate of songs to a nice sized crowd, under the direction of Choral Director Jessica Coldwell. Extra lighting effects by Brad Ewing added visual to the audio delight for those in attendance.

WMS & WHS BAND CONCERTSA variety of bands took to the stage Monday evening at WHS under the direction of Ben Olson. First up, the WMS 6th graders with selections including "The Saints Go Marchin' Again" and the "Theme from 1812 Overture".

WORK ZONE DIGITAL ART CONTEST KTAThis week, April 11-15, 2016 is National Work Zone Awareness Week. Improving safety in work zones is important for not only road crew workers but also for motorists. 90% of people injured or killed in work zone crashes are motorists.

Driver Education Course Offered This Summer

A Driver Education course will be offered this summer for students who have completed their eighth grade year of school and who will be 14 years of age by May 31, 2016, but not yet 21 years of age by September 1, 2016. Enrollment will be limited to the first 112 students who complete the enrollment procedure. An enrollment packet has been sent home on 4/11/16 with all Wellington Middle School 8th graders and all interested students from Wellington High School.
