Mustangs Stampede Up & Down Washington To Raise $$$

Jog-A-Thon 091115The Washington Mustangs were stampeding up and down Washington Ave. Friday...why? It was JOG-A-THON time and the students and staff were raising monies for technology for their school!


MOMS MUFFINS BOOKSIt was MOMS & MUFFINS DAYat Washington Elementary School on Friday - a follow up from this past autumn's DADS & DONUTS DAY. At both events, the respective parent or grandparent or guardian is treated to muffins (or donuts in the fall) and juice and each student gets to pick out a free book to read and keep.

Christmas Spirit Is High In Mustang Country - DEC. 2014

The Spirit of Christmas filled the halls at Washington Elementary Tuesday...the morning began with song and climaxed with the decoration of THE MUSTANG TREE. Each Washington student prepared an ornament for the tree and class by class, the ornaments were put in place...pretty awesome!! Enjoy the video and MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE WASHINGTON MUSTANGS!


The USD 353 Administrators (Rick Weiss, Superintendent - Larry Roth, Asst. Superintendent - Dale Adams, Curriculum Director) accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge offered up late last week by the 5th graders at Washington Elementary. Good Show, Good Cause, Good Sports!


Mrs. Sawyer and her 5th grade class at Washington Elementary took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Thursday....perfect day for it - about 100 degrees out! Mr. Weiss, Mr. Roth and Mr. Adams were challenged by the 5th graders to also take "The Challenge" or pay $100 each to the ALS Research Foundation...tick tock tick tock - umm, where are those gents????
