EAGLES Host "Morning with Mom" Breakfast!

wms-football-campRecently Eisenhower Elementary School had a "Morning with Mom" breakfast. The students and moms enjoyed complimentary donuts, juice, and coffee together. This is the second family breakfast Eisenhower has hosted for parents this school year. This past Fall was "Donuts with Dad". Both events were well attended.

Eisenhower's Jael Catlett is State Spelling Bee Bound!

Eisenhower Interest Day Culminates With A "Sterling" Parade - Oct. 2014

wms-football-camp It was Interest Day at Eisenhower on Friday. Different groups and members of the community shared their hobbies or occupations with the students throughout the day. The young Eagles and Eisenhower staff then braved the damp, windy and cool weather for their annual "parade" from the Home of the Eagles south to Sterling House to share their young spirits in presence and song.

NHS & ROTARY JOIN FORCES - OCT. 2014

wms-football-campSaturday was a busy day for several WHS - NHS members and also members of the local Rotary Club here in Wellington. The two groups combined forces to add a very colorful USA Map to the slab on the Eisenhower Elementary playground, all coordinated through Eisenhower teacher Jasinta Wencel. The project took about 4 1/2 hours to complete!

Top County Spellers Are Eisenhower Eagles - OCT 2014

wms-football-campThe Sumner County Spelling Bee was held Wednesday at Wellington Middle School and "2" 5th graders from Eisenhower shined in the 5th-8th grade category! Finishing first was Jael (pictured on the right) and finishing second was Brett.
