IKE Students Have New Feathery Classmates!

IKE CHICKS Mrs. Saffell's kindergarten class at Eisenhower Elementary hatched chicken eggs as a science project in the classroom. The eggs had to be rotated for 18 days. They candled the eggs to see the baby chicks inside. 9 eggs hatched out of 18. Two of their eggs had half chicken/half turkey babies! 2017 D.A.R.E. Graduation For 5TH Graders Held at WHS

D.A.R.E. Role ModelsThe 2017 D.A.R.E. Graduation Ceremony for area 5th graders was held Wednesday evening at WHS. SRO and D.A.R.E. facilitator Jim Yunker of the Wellington Police Department MC'd the event which includes recognition of the program, the participants and more. Awards are presented to the students for various achievements associated with the D.A.R.E.

Eisenhower 3rd Graders Celebrate Kansas Day!

KS DAY @ IKEMORE EISENHOWER KANSAS DAY PICS! Students in third grade at Eisenhower Elementary celebrated Kansas Day making sunflower art, researching and presenting facts about Kansas symbols, making quilt squares, and decorating sunflower cupcakes. The cupcakes were made and donated by former Wellington teachers Nancy Strader and Mary Meeker.
