WMS After School Program Holds Science Fair!

Central Office USD 353Science can’t be experienced without making a mess and sometimes getting a little dirty. That is exactly what happened at the Wellington Middle School Science Fair. The WMS After School Program (ASP) held a science fair for the elementary ASP students and their families on April 23. The Middle School students have been focused on being mentors this year. They represented well at this event.

The 4TH ANNUAL COLOR RUN @ Eisenhower!

COLOR RUN EISENHOWERThe 4th Annual (I believe) COLOR RUN was held at Eisenhower Elementary on Thursday after being delayed nearly a week due to rain. "Character Counts" Activities @ IKE Thursday Morning!

Character Counts!Both the WHS Baseball and Softball Team members were on hand to greet the Eisenhower Eagles MORE PICS Thursday morning as part of the CHARACTER COUNTS assembly being held at EAGLE HQ! Following the "TUNNEL" everyone joined together in the COMMONS for "feel good" activities and more.

LIFE/KRR Family Engagement Program Graduation Thursday

LIFE-KKR PICWEEK 7 of the LIFE/KRR Family Engagement Program featured Kansas State Representative Anita Judd-Jenkins who read to the students and visited with the parents. The LIFE Graduation Ceremony is this Thursday, April 27th!

WMS Students Working Together & Creating "QUILLOWS"!

Hillhouse WMSWMS students in 8th grade sewing have been busy 4th quarter making Quillows. A quillow is a lap quilt that folds into a pillow. Students are working together to create each of their quilts. Managing three large layers of fabric and quilt batting on the sewing machine is quite an accomplishment and each student has done a fabulous job!
