Under the musical direction of Mrs. Pam Thompson, the Washington Elementary 3rd & 4th grades performed their "Seasonal Serenade" for a nice sized crowd at WHS on Monday!
WMS Leadership students and their sponsors, shopped at Wal*Mart on Sunday for a fellow "Knight" and "Lady Knight", both participants of the Angel Tree program. Big smiles on their faces as they spent quite a bit of time picking out some pretty cool stuff! It's great to see students caring about others as members of the leadership group do on a regular basis. Great Job!!
The WHS Debate Team competed at Augusta on Saturday (DEC. 1st) and "2" more Crusader Debaters are State Tournament bound in January! Congratulations to Devin Dickinson and Gabe Hyer who placed 6th with an overall win/loss rating of 4 wins & 1 loss. Great job gentlemen!
The Eisenhower Eagles on Thursday were greeted on arrival by numerous "local heroes", i.e. Fire, EMS, Police, and Military. An assembly followed and October Students of the Month were announced! Check out the pics from the Eagles grand start to Thursday!

The WHS CHOIR under the direction of Jessica Coldwell are working hard to raise $$ for their NEW YORK trip in February! They are getting CLO$E! They truly have worked hard!!!!

WMS Leadership students delivered the food items they had collected for the Thanksgiving Holiday to the Wellington Food Bank on Monday. "3" vans, driven by Luke Smith, Kristin White, and Terri Driskell, and over a dozen Knights & Lady Knights, completed the delivery for the upcoming Holiday season, (over 1400 items - and over $150 cash) - Awesome job WMS - your efforts will help put smiles on many faces during Thanksgiving and other Holiday celebrations!!
Students in Mrs. Defore's World History class completed their first big project of the year, "Conquest and Its' Impact".
One of the final products included a museum exhibit where students highlighted one aspect of their learning. The museum was set up in the library, and each class visited. Students were encouraged to leave "I like" and "I wonder" comments for the exhibitors.
